Ursinus College invites applications for a two-year renewable Assistant Professor of Business and Economics with background in management and marketing.
Main teaching responsibilities include core courses in a management and marketing, business ethics and upper division electives within their area of professional expertise. Expertise in digital marketing, or entrepreneurship is a plus. Evidence of outstanding teaching or teaching potential is essential. Teaching load is a 3/3. Additional responsibilities include mentoring internships, advising students, and working in an advisory capacity with the U-Imagine Center for Integrative and Entrepreneurial Studies.
Requirements and Qualifications
Qualified candidates must demonstrate commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education, enthusiasm for working with students, and support the College’s commitment to fostering an interdisciplinary experience. Successful applicants must have a Ph.D. or DBA completed by September 2018 or MBA with 10 years of business experience. Preference will be given to candidates with the Ph.D or DBA.
