Jesse Randall
I joined the Ursinus College Enrollment Operations and Analytics department in August 2017. In June 2018, with the forming of the new department, I have moved to Student Financial Services (SFS). This office is a combination of the offices previously known as Student Financial Assistance and Student Accounts. As Associate Director of Student Financial Services-Aid and Technology, I supervise the SFS staff responsible for administration of financial aid. I also manage day-to-day technical processes and provide technical and systems support for Student Financial Assistance. I also serve as a liaison between SFS and the Office of Information Technology.
Background
While a student at Susquehanna University (2010-2013), I worked in the Office of Financial Aid as a student worker. I provided administrative support to the office as well as providing basic technical assistance and counseling to families. After earning a B.A. in Information Systems from Susquehanna I began working in the Office of Financial Aid at Delaware Valley University as a Financial Aid Counselor and was later promoted to Assistant Director.
Based on my experiences as a student I hold a great value in liberal arts colleges and universities. This is one of the things that drew me to Ursinus College. I enjoy being able to be a part of the process that helps to give other people that same opportunity. Prior to my current position, I have held positions as Student Financial Assistance Technology Manager and Associate Director of Student Financial Services - Aid & Technology at Ursinus College.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife and child, watching sports, and listening to and playing music. Some of my favorite hobbies include roasting coffee and building and repairing electrical musical equipment (electric guitars, guitar effects pedals, guitar amps, etc.).
