As part of the event technology team, Sue provides leadership in planning and implementing technical support for projects, productions and events hosted in the Kaleidoscope Performing Arts Center and across the campus.
Sue joined Ursinus College in spring of 2018. Prior to joining Ursinus she worked at Steel Owl Productions in South Philadelphia as General and Project Manager for Escape the 1980s and creating commissioned experiences for clients including Autodesk and The Franklin Institute. Prior to her move to Philadelphia, she was the Lighting Coordinator at the Zoellner Arts Center and an Adjunct Professor for the at Department of Theatre at Lehigh University. She brings over 20 years of experience in the Theatre industry as a lighting designer, stage manager, and a technical consultant. Sue’s professional affiliations include the United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT) and Illuminating Engineering Society (IES). In her free time she enjoys spending time with her spouse, five cats and two dogs, traveling, touring museums, seeking out local food, and cooking.
