Carolyn manages the Ursinusiana Collection in Myrin Library.

College Archivist

Background

Carolyn started at Ursinus College’s Myrin Library in 1993. She became caretaker of the College Archives in 1994 while continuing in other Myrin departments (i.e.: Acquisitions, Periodicals, Media Services, and cataloging). In 2000, after completing Temple’s Post Graduate Archival Studies Program and an internship at the Swarthmore University Archives, Carolyn passed the Academy of Certified Archivist (ACA) exam; and is now Ursinus College Archivist. Prior to Ursinus, Carolyn served as an officer of the Allentown, PA, and Melbourne, FL, AAUW chapters. She also taught adult education and First Grade in her home state of Illinois.

Carolyn is a member of the Society of American Archivists (SAA), the American Library Association (ALA), and the Mid-Atlantic Regional Archivist (MARAC).
