Tessa Narins

As the Assistant Director of Conference and Special Events (CASE), Tessa is responsible for overseeing the planning and roll-out of campus-wide events including the strategic, year-round scheduling of campus facilities and the coordination of related logistics. She leads the planning of certain signature campus events, like Commencement, from conception through to completion. She also acts as a liaison to external clients, parents, and alumni as well as College faculty, students, and staff, who are planning events. In addition, she supports the development of the CASE office by assisting in all aspects of revenue-producing program development and facility rentals. This includes client care, developing and managing workflow, logistical coordination and communication.

Background

Tessa joined Ursinus College in January 2019, bringing with her detailed knowledge and experience in the events industry. She was formerly a Wedding and Events Planner for J. Scott Catering, a local farm-to-table off-premise catering company. Tessa began her career as an Events Planning Assistant in the Event Planning Services office at the University of Virginia.
