Ursinus College invites applicants for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position beginning fall 2023.

Teaching three courses each semester. These courses will include elementary or intermediate Spanish-language courses and, possibly, an upper-level literature and culture course in Spanish or a first-year seminar in English.  All areas of specialization will be considered.

Candidates are expected to have a native or near native proficiency in Spanish and hold a doctoral degree in Spanish or a closely related field.  ABD candidates expected to defend soon will be considered. Previous experience teaching Spanish to undergraduate students is preferred.
