Myra Sanchez educates the campus community on alcohol and drug issues and provides outreach programs for sexual misconduct prevention. She is a Social Work student studying at Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. Her expected graduation date in May 2020. Myra has a welcoming personality and can always be seen with a smile on. She is living in Paisley Hall with her partner Alvert Hernandez and their dog Benji. She loves painting, watching TV, and playing with Benji on her free time.
Myra graduated from New Jersey City University and received her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology in May 2017. Myra then started her Masters program at Kean University for Social Work in Fall 2017. During this time, Myra also worked as a domestic violence Family Advocate Program Counselor. After moving to Pennsylvania in July 2018, Myra continued her education and is currently attending Bryn Mawr College with hopes to graduate in May 2020 with her Masters in Social Work. As a full time student, Myra was working as a Support Coordinator working with individuals with mental and physical disabilities before working here at Ursinus College. She will also be interning at Phoenixville Board of Education working with students who have experienced trauma this year.
