Dr. Martin is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with experience in college counseling centers, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and community mental health. She is particularly passionate about working with the collegiate population and supporting students in reaching their academic, personal, and professional goals. Dr. Martin has engaged with individuals from diverse backgrounds throughout her career and prioritizes tailoring treatment to the specific needs of the student. Utilizing both an integrative and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) orientation, Dr. Martin works to help students develop insight and skills that can enhance their overall well-being.
Prior to working in the psychological field, Dr. Martin was an educator, teaching both high school English and social studies. She continues to have a deep love for literature and audiobooks. Dr. Martin feels very lucky to be a part of the Ursinus community and enjoys the energy and excitement of working within a collegiate setting.
