The staff therapist is a member of the Ursinus Community who is there to provide short term support, guidance, and crisis management. The staff therapist is a good resource for help with problem solving or to provide you with referrals for longer term services.

Background

Danielle Wagner (she/her) is a licensed clinical social worker who has worked primarily in Pennsylvania. For the past two years she has worked to provide trauma-informed care to youth in the foster case system, and before that provided community therapy in Bucks County. She has an undergraduate degree in psychology from Muhlenberg College, and a Master of Social Work from Columbia University.

Danielle has been described as an accepting, kind, and empathetic therapist. She has been recognized in 2019 as the NAMI Bucks County Mental Health Advocate of the year. Her favorite part of her job is, when possible, using nature and animals as a tool to connect and build trust with her clients. Danielle loves traveling, coffee, and thrifting. She shares her home with her partner, but mostly with her two cats, Merlin and Taco, and her dog, Penny. She is looking forward to becoming a part of the Ursinus Community.
