Biography

Ivy is a mission-driven nonprofit professional specializing in communications, fundraising, and leadership. She currently serves as Communications Director at Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy, where she leads a talented team in all internal and external communications, including web, print, video, and digital media. Before joining Beck Institute, Ivy served as Director of Communications and Foundations at Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia, where she supported Philadelphia families seeking quality early education for their children.

Ivy holds an MA with distinction from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, which she earned while on a Fulbright graduate student award, and holds a BA with distinguished honors in English from Ursinus College. She holds a certificate from the Bryn Mawr Nonprofit Executive Leadership Institute and has taken classes on nonprofit leadership and board development. Outside of the nonprofit world, Ivy can be found in her local community garden, at the gym or cycling studio, or in the kitchen of her South Philadelphia row home, where she lives with her husband.
