While I was in Philly, I particpated in an 8-credit internship at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in their Neurosurgery Clinical Research Division and the Spine Institute in Orthopedics at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. I also took two Drexel classes, Genetics, and Educational Philosophy, and one Ursinus class, Health in the City. I gained so much from my experience in Philly. First and foremost I was able to confirm what I wanted to do post grad. I also had so much fun living in the City. I would just hop on a bus and see where it took me and explore the city (which is so close to us, and such an important city in making changes to the US!) Anyone considering PhillyX, GO FOR IT! You won’t regret it. #gobirds

PS: I ended up kayacking down the Schuykill river which was fun!
