What I Love About Writing
I love writing because I love expressing my thoughts and being able to dive deeper into a topic and analyze it to show readers my thought process and my reasons for believing something. Writing is much more enjoyable to prepare than a speech or a presentation because there is no limit to what you want to write; you can take as many words and pages as you need to express yourself.
How I Stay Involved
Other than being a Writing Fellow, on campus I am involved in Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow (STAT), the Brownback-Anders Pre-Health Society (BAPS), the Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students (MAPS), and I’m a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority. I’m also a volunteer at Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care and I’m a part of Dr. Bailey’s research on mice hearts.
Life After Ursinus
After I graduate from Ursinus, I plan on going to medical school. Although I am not sure what type of doctor I would like to be yet, I am hopeful that I will gain more of a sense of what field I would love to work in during medical school.
I went to Italy during my senior year of high school.
