About
Although I am definitely a book-lover, and hav e been since childhood, I also enjoy chess, basketball, board games, journaling, editing Wikipedia, and playing now-Ancient Wii games with my siblings (mostly LEGO Star Wars and Mario Kart). I work in the Writing Center on campus and off campus I deliver groceries. I also attend Covenant Fellowship Church, where I have interned over the summer. Lastly, I am an avid Philly sports fan, who both Trusts the Process and bleeds green.
Most Memorable Moment in Class
Cutting out pieces of paper with scissors on the floor as part of a dramatization of To the Lighthouse.
How I Stay Involved
Last year I did an independent study on Self, Society, and Education that was a philosophical look at modern culture and values and how that applies to education. I also plan on student teaching my senior year.
My Experience
Whether I am digging deeper into a classic or reading one for the first time, each English class at Ursinus has been valuable and formative. I have grown as a reader, writer, and thinker, not only in class but in conversations with professors and other students. Fortunately, I have quite a few courses ahead, meaning more room to continue exploring.
