Farm Director Fellow

I got involved in Sustainability Fellows because I had a few friends in the program and they really loved it. Once the farm opened up, I was more than happy to get involved myself!

My Experience

For my Environmental Studies internship, I worked at Hill Creek Farm in Pottstown. They use organic practices, and raise chickens for eggs as well as growing vegetables, herbs, fruits, and flowers. I got to gain experience planting, training tomatoes to grow on trellises, harvesting, mulching, and other farm tasks. I’m excited to bring this experience to the Ursinus Farm and share agriculture with our campus!

Life After Ursinus

I’d like to open a farm that doubles as a type of horticulture therapy and animal therapy program for all people because I find farming to very a very therapeutic process. I’d like to create a space for people to be able to express themselves in different ways.
