About
Why did you choose Duke University?
I chose Duke for a number of reasons, but the number one reason was their public interest program. Duke offers a certificate in Public Interest and Public Service Law as well as a Duke in D.C. program, which allows for an externship in D.C. to be taken alongside a weekly seminar course taught by Duke faculty. I also love the location and was grateful to receive a scholarship!
Where else were you accepted?
I was also accepted to Boston University
What are your goals for the future?
In the future I hope to work in some realm of public service, be that the federal government, non-profit organizations, etc.
What else did you do while at Ursinus?
I was captain of women’s cross country and women’s track, UCSG treasurer, and VP of Omega Chi.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
My favorite hobbies are baking and playing ultimate frisbee!
Favorite Ursinus Memory
My most memorable moment at Ursinus was presenting my Honor’s thesis as CoSA (shoutout to Mr. F for being an amazing advisor on that project)!
Impact of Ursinus
The critical thinking and writing skills I developed at Ursinus have been invaluable. Small classes and easy communication with professors also gave me confidence in my work and in the classroom.
