Tip for the college search:
Visit the schools you want to attend. Virtual visits are great but until you actually set foot on campus, you won’t know what its like to be there.
Ursinus is a great place for:
Trying new things. With a liberal arts education we want you to expand what you already know. Take classes that you never thought you would. Join a club or organization and get involved with the great Ursinus community.
I began my higher education journey by working at Delaware Valley University where I was an admission counselor. I was born in Reading, PA and graduated from Governor Mifflin High School. I then attended Rosemont College where I earned a bachelors in biology. I was a three year starter on the lacrosse team. Being a small school I was able to be involved in many aspects of student life. I was the vice-president of the student athlete committee, an orientation leader, and was involved in many of the clubs. I loved the small school atmosphere. I then earned a Master’s degree in Higher Education from Purdue University - Global. Throughout these experiences I learned a lot about higher education and the opportunities it can provide students. Now that I am at Ursinus I see the opportunities students are able to be involved in. The students are immersed into their a great environment their first week on campus. You can be whatever you want to be on campus. I am excited to help students and their families through this process.
