Shelsea traveled with her cohort of Melrose Fellows to Puerto Rico in May 2019 and then continued her travels during the Fall 2019 semester by studying in Prague, Czech Republic. Shelsea writes: “I grew up with ethnic diversity and continue to seek that in and with the Melrose Fellows, which has provided me the opportunity to learn more about other diverse nations through global civic engagement. I intend to seek more ethnically diverse opportunities after graduating.”
