Most Memorable Moment in Class
During my first-semester freshman year CIE class, my professor, Dr. Cornelio, encouraged deep and rich conversations relating to our readings. We all shared our life experiences, connected them to the text, and frequently discussed what we could do to make the world a better place. As a class, we laughed, and cried together that semester, and it was a class I’ll never forget.
How I Stay Involved
On campus in addition to my role as a Writing Fellow, I’m also a Resident Advisor, BIO-101 and BIO-102 Recitation Tutor, the Director of Education for Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority, and I cheer for the UC football team! I’m also looking to get involved in research on campus!
Life After Ursinus
After I graduate, my plan is to study in Scotland for one year at the University of Aberdeen on a scholarship. Since I was awarded the scholarship during a pandemic, the opportunity was differed to a post-graduate experience and I’m super excited to go! I also would like to go to graduate school to get a Masters in Special Education and Elementary Education so I can work as a special education teacher in elementary schools!
What I Love About Writing
I love the freedom that comes with writing. I enjoy the opportunity to explore multiple perspectives on any given topic, and share those ideas with others.
