Defne Sarsilmaz ’06 has been awarded an AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellowship (STPF) with a placement at the Department of State/Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations. Sarsilmaz is among 284 highly trained scientists and engineers who will spend a year serving professionally in federal agencies and congressional offices as a fellow.
