Special Education Teacher

St. Coletta of Greater Washington

I have worked for City Year in AmeriCorps, AMC Theatres, Brainy Camps (a summer camp, both in person and virtually), and started at St. Coletta of Greater Washington as a Teacher’s Assistant, and got promoted last June to Special Education Teacher.

What’s Next?

I am working as a Special Education Teacher at St. Coletta of Greater Washington, with hopes to develop a drama curriculum, but there is so much other work to do (especially right now)!

I believe that my time in the Theater and Dance Department helped me grow, especially in the areas of patience, compassion, and critical thinking. I use all of these skills as a Special Education Teacher.
