About

I became an English major because I knew it would make me a better writer, reader, and critical thinker. The variety of classes offered exposes me to say many different authors and styles of writing. After reading a specific author, if I enjoy their writing, I will read more of their work in my free time.

Most Memorable Moment in Class

For my English senior capstone, we took a trip to the UPENN Kislak Center to look at manuscripts. We were look at manuscripts that were thousands of years old. When they were presented to us, they looked like props in a movie! When we finally got to touch them, it was unreal. It felt like I was in the 1300s.
