Dave Bowen ’72 celebrated his 72nd birthday in December on the continent of Antarctica, 140 miles south of the Antarctic Circle. At that time of year, there was no sunset—just 24 hours of daylight. Dave was aboard the National Geographic Polar Expedition ship the “Endurance” and was married to Patricia McInerney in a ceremony performed by the ship’s captain.
