Gianna McCarthy

Gianna is a sophomore majoring in English on the Teacher Certification Track with minors in Spanish and Creative Writing. This is her first year working in the Career and Post-Graduate Development office as a Peer Associate specializing in Marketing and Graphic Design. On campus, Gianna is also a rush chair, corresponding secretary, tuneskeeper, and IGC representative for Tau Sigma Gamma Sorority as well as a member of the Ursinus Cheerleading Team. Additionally, she explores her literary passions as an editor for The Lantern, writer for The Grizzly, Writing Fellow at the UC Writing Center, and being a Creative Writing Scholar. During the week, Gianna volunteers at Perkiomen Valley Middle School and Centro Cultural Latinos Unidos (CCLU) in Pottstown. Gianna is excited to spread awareness of the benefits the CPD office has to offer with her peers and put all she learns while working with the office to use by improving her own career opportunities.
