About
I am interested in helping patients who experience language barriers. Arabic is my first language, I am fluent in English, and I have been learning German and Spanish. I am passionate about making healthcare accessible to all, despite any linguistic difficulties.
Research
I take part in Dr. King’s research on cofilin expression in HIV Associated Neurocognitive Disorders (HANDs). Cofilin is a regulator of cytoskeletal proteins and a major mechanism in microglial phagocytosis.
How I Stay Involved
I am the Social Chair/Treasurer for the Class of 2026 and the treasurer of the Women’s Rugby team.
