As someone who plans to attend medical school, the intersection between science and ethics is very important to me. There are many conversations to have about this topic to achieve a balance and understanding between the two disciplines. I was drawn to the Science and the Common Good because it allows me to pursue that balance and questions of it.

I have been in a research lab since my sophomore year. I worked under both Dr. Beth Bailey and Dr. Jennifer King. I have just recently finished summer fellows. I have done multiple XLP requirements. Last summer, I worked in a pharmacy and was able to explore the ethical and business factors that exist in the pharmacy, and healthcare at large.
