David Henry
Instructor
David earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University. He spent the beginning of his career working for the FAA where he completed is Master’s in Computer Science. He later then went to work for RCA/GE/Lockheed Martin where he was a senior principal systems engineer designing and developing radar and weapon systems for the Department of Navy. During which time he obtained his second Master’s in Modeling and Simulation. From there he worked for the Navy’s Center of Excellence in Electronics Manufacturing at ACI Technologies before coming to Ursinus.
Along the way of his technical career, he has been an adjunct professor for various higher educational institutions in the greater Philadelphia area teaching in the Computer Science and Math departments as such. His teaching philosophy is from an application approach connecting the theory to what we experience in our everyday life.
Outside of Ursinus Dave spends time with his family, loves the local sports teams and enjoys bowling.
