Visiting Assistant Professor of Modern Languages
Dr. Rimante Arcila is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish. She earned her Ph.D. in Spanish Applied Linguistics at Temple University. Dr. Arcila’s research interests encompass various areas of multilingualism and second language acquisition, with particular emphasis on the dynamics of small-group interactions. Dr. Arcila’s current projects investigate foreign language learning through the lens of social and cognitive theories. Her teaching experience includes all proficiency levels of Spanish and includes general education courses.
