What do you love most about Ursinus?
I feel like I can genuinely make connections with professors because of the small class sizes, and it offers a plethora of options to explore classes outside my majors.
What opportunities have you had to explore and grow your passions at Ursinus?
Becoming a Digital Liberal Arts Fellow gave me the opportunity to pursue my interests in digital learning and also laid the ground work for my culminating project as a Summer Fellow with a video essay. Also, the student run dance company, Escape Velocity, has given me a place to create and share my love of dance without any restrictions or pressure.
When did you first discover Ursinus was the right fit for you?
When my sister went to Ursinus, I was dead set on not going here, but she insisted I go on a tour so we could see the new IDC. I reluctantly agreed, but once I stepped foot on campus as a prospective student, and not just as a little sister, everything seemed like it was exactly where I should be. Moving in to campus freshman year really solidified that feeling, especially with the friends I had made then.
What has been your favorite experience at Ursinus so far?
Meeting the girls in my sorority and truly feeling like I belonged with them.
Advice for incoming students:
Do your requirements early on and work with your advisors. They are there for a reason and sometimes their advice is exactly what you need when making your class schedule.
