Dr. Adessa Flack (she/her) is a bilingual Clinical Psychologist who has experience in community mental health, private practice, inpatient, and college counseling settings. Dr. Flack uses an integrative approach and takes pride in tailoring interventions based on the needs and strengths of her clients. Dr. Flack’s therapeutic style is described as compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-focused. She has interests in mindfulness, anxiety, identity development and relationships. Dr. Flack also is passionate about advocacy for individuals with disabilities as well as individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community. Previously, she has conducted research in mindfulness-based stress-reduction strategies as well as brain injuries.
When off-campus, Dr. Flack enjoys painting, aerial arts, and spending time with her family and two cats.
