Connor Evangelisto

What experiences were you able to gain because of the Abele Scholars Program?

Being able to take part in visiting the Union League, Valley Forge at the Freedoms Foundation, and just get a better overall understanding and appreciation for our Nation’s History.

Why did you want to be an Abele Scholar?

Becoming an Abele Scholar not only provided me with the financial opportunity to attend Ursinus College but also gave me a platform to pay it forward and help others! Last spring a group of Scholars went to help with a local charity that provides food to people with financial difficulty in the community.

Why did you choose Ursinus College?

I chose Ursinus because of the Great Biology/Pre-Med program, the small campus environment, and the Abele Scholars program which has made a huge impact on my life!

We are excited that we had greater participation from younger students and look forward to their continued engagement with the U-Imagine Center. We are profoundly grateful for the unwavering support of Will Abele ’61, who through his gracious generosity provides this engaging experience for Ursinus students.
