Simba is a Zimbabwean international who graduated from Ursinus College in 2022 with a BS in Biology. He graduated Magma Cum Laude with Departmental Honors in Biology. During his time as Ursinus Simba was a member of the Men’s Soccer and Tennis teams, a resident advisor, a chapel leader, a Melrose Fellow, a STAT member, as a well as being part of the Voices In Ursinus Choir amongst other clubs. Simba was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honors society and was awarded the Senior Alumni Award in 2022. After studying at Ursinus, Simba worked as a lab analyst at Pfizer in Parsippany, NJ before matriculating into a PhD (Physiology) program at Howard University, where he is currently studying. Simba was awarded a fellowship in which Howard has a collaboration with the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA). Simba is working in a lab which focuses on the behavioral, cellular and physiological effects of the chronic use of alcohol and marijuana on the brain.
