About
I currently work as a Localization Coordinator for the video game company Naughty Dog. I assist in coordinating all processes related to localizing our games (text translation, audio dubbing, subtitling, loc QA, etc).
Impact of Ursinus
While at UC, I fell in love with studying Japanese because of the community we had. Even outside of class, students and faculty were actively engaged in all kinds of events to support a fun and well-rounded learning experience. From attending Japan Club events or dinners where we practiced speaking with each other, to hosting Tamagawa Taiko & Dance, inviting music and arts experts to give lectures, or going to the Philadelphia Sakura Festival - all of these things were core to building community, showing how languages can help you see the world from a new angle and connect with people you would have never met otherwise. My love of languages made me want to pursue a career in the industry, and I wouldn’t have learned about the Middlebury Institute (which significantly helped jumpstart my career) if it weren’t for the connections I made at Ursinus.
