What Scholars in Service Means to Me
I chose to be a Scholar in Service because service has always been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a member of the Ursinus community, I was excited to have the opportunity to give back to the Ursinus and Collegeville communities. Scholars has been such an amazing experience and has brought so many wonderful people into my life.
Memorable Moment in Scholars in Service
One specific scholars meeting that stood out to me was our very first meeting of this school year, where we did lots of different activities and icebreaker and returning scholars had the chance to talk about the service sites that they are involved in that they feel passionate about.
Advice for Prospective Ursinus Service Leaders
I would tell a prospective Ursinus Leader to take their time when adjusting from high school to college life, especially when you are devoting much of your time to doing community service. If you plan ahead, you will be able to manage your time much more efficiently.
