English has always been my favorite subject, but I have found a new appreciation for literature and writing through my classes. Being an English major does not mean just reading books and writing papers; it requires a new way of thinking and analyzing aspects of writing as something that reflects aspects of society that we face every day.
At Ursinus, I really feel as though I have grown not only academically, but also in how I picture myself and the world around me as well. The community here genuinely wants you to succeed and the encouragement from faculty and students alike is unlike anything I have ever experienced before.
