Why did you decide to become a language major?
I love Latin American literature, especially Magical Realism, as it acts as window through which you can examine the context and experiences of Latin Americans and their culture.
What has been your most rewarding experience in your language major so far?
I don’t believe in having a single rewarding experience. Being a Spanish major has given me an avenue to better understand my heritage, and that is an ongoing experience which will never cease to be rewarding.
What are your plans after Ursinus?
I plan on going to grad school and getting a doctorate in Latin American studies/politics, and hopefully being a professor in Chile/Argentina/Ecuador.
