At Ursinus we have been constantly consulting and evaluating state and county guidelines on gathering sizes and social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic. While the academic year has closed the health and safety of the entire community is still our top priority. With this in mind, the College will not rent facilities to external groups through August 2021.
If you are on campus and outdoors, masks are no longer required for fully vaccinated people. However, they will still be required for non-vaccinated individuals until the statewide vaccination rate reaches 70 percent, per the commonwealth’s guidelines.
For the time being, we ask that all individuals—vaccinated and non-vaccinated—remain masked in indoor settings except if you are seated inside Café 2020 and eating, or if you are sitting in your individual offices or working alone in your laboratories.
As the summer months continue, Ursinus will enthusiastically host campus visits from prospective students and their families through our admission office. We’re also planning to welcome patrons to the Schellhase Commons, the Berman Museum of art, and Movies on the Lawn—the popular summer series for Collegeville-area families. We’re thrilled that summer camps and the Summer Fellows program will be returning as well.
