Why stay at Ursinus College?

A quick commute to:

Pfizer, Inc. (2.5 miles), GSK (3.4 miles), The Dow Chemical Company (4.6 miles), Phoenixville (5.6 miles), Norristown Transportation Center (8.5 Miles), King of Prussia (10 miles) or Merck (12 miles)

Non-Ursinus interns will be housed in student apartments or one of the 32 Victorian homes surrounding campus which have been converted into unique dormitory style housing.

Rooms and Rates

The standard intern housing assignment is a private room with a twin XL bed, dresser, desk and desk chair within a dormitory style building. There are two traditional shared bathrooms on each floor, shared kitchen spaces, communal living areas and a free laundry facility within in the building. Rate, $165/week (Sunday-Saturday)

A private room in an apartment will have (1) shared bathroom, free washer and dryer and a kitchen with a stove, oven and refrigerator/freezer. Rate, $200/week (Sunday-Saturday)

Minimum stay of 10 weeks. Rent includes all utilities, cable, internet and parking. Payment must be made in full for the full term of stay desired no later than (7) days before the confirmed move-in date.

(2) private 1-bedroom apartments are available each session for $250/week. These apartments are furnished with bedroom furniture (twin xl bed, dresser, desk, desk chair) and sometimes living room furniture, but it is not guaranteed.

Housing Availability

Ursinus student’s or students that are enrolled in Ursinus College summer programs are not eligible for the intern housing program. Please contact Residence Life for more information.

Policies and Procedures

All interns residing in an Ursinus College housing must abide by Ursinus College policies and procedures as outlined in our Student Handbook.

Interns must also review, sign and submit a copy of our Intern Housing Terms and Conditions, which is sent to interns upon acceptance into the program,

Ursinus College values its relationship with the Collegeville Community. As guests of the college, it is expected that all interns are respectful of our college community and our neighbors.

  • Loud gatherings are prohibited.
  • All guests must be registered with the College Events and Signature Programs Office
  • College guests who do not comply with our community standards will be removed from college housing.
