For Faculty & Staff
Our office shares the same goals as yours - to empower students to become independent, responsible, thoughtful leaders. Let’s work together to ensure students thrive at Ursinus!
Join the Community Standards on Alcohol and other Substances (CSAS) Committee
Interested in helping to improve the culture around substances on campus? Join the Community Standards on Alcohol and other Substances (CSAS) Committee to actively play a role in collecting and reviewing data to address trends and create recommendations for the College on how to improve the culture around substances. The group helps to create the Biennial Review required every two years for the Department of Education. Email Katie Bean at kbean@ursinus.edu for more info.
Guest Speakers for your Students
Planning to be away for a conference or family wedding or doctor’s appointment? No problem! Health Promotion provides guest speakers on wellness topics personalized to fit your syllabus or group’s goals.
Staff and para-professional staff are qualified to discuss a variety of wellness topics. See the list of workshops here and use the workshop request form on that page for Ucrew Peer Educators to present to your group. To request a staff guest speaker, email healthpromotion@ursinus.edu
First Year Advisors have access to two videos with facilitator’s guides to use in their classes via the FYA portal but all faculty and staff can access it below. If you’d like Health Promotion to create additional content for your class, just ask! Two topics below are currently available:
