Absences due to the death of a spouse, child, parent or sibling may be granted for up to three (3) regularly scheduled days without loss of pay to arrange for and attend a funeral. Included also are step-parents, step-children, and step-brothers/sisters who lived with you in an immediate family relationship.

Absences due to the death of an uncle, aunt, grandparent, grandchild, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, mother-in-law, or father-in-law may be granted for a maximum of one (1) day. Vacation days or unpaid leave may be used to attend funerals of other individuals.
