The College recognizes your civic responsibility to serve on a jury or testify as a witness in a case.  In such instances, the College ensures you are compensated while you are away from work.

If an employee presents a jury duty notice from Federal, State or County officials, or is subpoenaed to be a witness at a trial, the College will grant time off and pay exclusive of travel expenses for a maximum of 10 days. Employees are expected to return to work when all-day court attendance is not required. A statement of earnings must be submitted to the business office for payroll purposes.
