Our strategic plan is committed to supporting and encouraging staff to enhance their professional development.
Compliance has placed ever-growing demands on us to provide annual training to all employees in areas such as information security, harassment and discrimination and Title IX. As a means to document our compliance, we offer interactive online training courses that employees are required to take as a new hire and then annually as an ongoing employee.
Professional development encompasses both on-campus educational workshops and online training, as well as offsite educational training and workshops/ seminars/ conferences. Our support of professional development is to enhance the knowledge or performance of employees to bring forth higher levels in the quality of work and efficiencies within departments.
Employees are encouraged to report professional development and/or training to the Human Resources Office to be included in employee personnel files.
