Library & Information Technology maintains three wireless network (WiFi) environments on campus, accessible to all students, faculty, staff and visitors.
This is the preferred network for all student/faculty/staff devices that have the ability to enter Ursinus login credentials (laptops, smartphones, tablets, etc). This network provides full access to the wireless system and all of its capabilities to the campus community. The traffic over this Wifi will be encrypted in WPA in the over-the-air segment.
This network is intended for student/faculty/staff devices that do NOT have the capability of entering login credentials (basic phones, gaming controllers, smart TVs, and other entertainment systems). This network also provides full access to the network and all of its capabilities, however it is not encrypted. To access this network you need to register your device. For assistance with registering your device, please click here.
Device registration will be valid for a period of 1 year.
This network is intended for devices that are not owned by members of the Ursinus Community. Ursinus Visitor network is not encrypted. Once you are connected, you will be prompted to register your device.
Registered devices will be valid for 24 hours.
