Student Employment

The Institute for Student Success seeks outstanding student leaders to provide academic support in a variety of methods.

The ISS employs students as academic coaches, subject tutors, and recitation leaders.

Our academic coaching program is designed to help students develop academic skills throughout their college career and beyond. Peer Academic Coaches are advanced standing students that have demonstrated outstanding academic skill in their educational journey.

Recitation Leaders lead group discussions about biology concepts and teach students a variety of learning skills that can be used to succeed in Ursinus academics. Leaders are assigned to two lab sections of BIO-101Q and will perform weekly workshops for all students.
