After an extensive period of testing and evaluation, the college has decided to end our relationship with our previous anti-virus vendor Sophos, and adopt a new anti-virus software, Palo Alto Traps Antivirus; consequently, if you have Sophos installed on your computer you need to take action to keep your computer protected.
All Ursinus faculty and staff issued computers are impacted.
An email with information was sent to those needing to update their computers. If at any time you have a question, or if you’d like to speak to someone to assist, please call Tech Support at 610-409-3789 or stop by and we can help.

It can be disastrous when your hard drive crashes and you need the information. There are ways to prevent catastrophic data loss and these ways are referred to collectively as “backing up”. Backing-up means copying your files to a separate location. Information and instructions can be found here:
