Spiritual and Personal Development Opportunities

Spiritual Direction

The chaplain is available to listen, as well as for one-on-one or group spiritual direction sessions for those students, faculty, and staff who wish to explore the questions of faith and spirituality, and how it shapes our lives.

Interfaith Gatherings

Throughout the semester we will schedule different events to facilitate interfaith discussions with invited guests, which will include a rabbi, priest, minister, imam, as well as other religious leaders to promote peace and understanding among various religions. Dates for  fall,  Sunday October 21 and Sunday November 18 at 5p.m.

Retreats

During the school year, there will be a number of on/off campus retreats offered for spiritual reflection.

Mission Trips

Interested in serving others in your community and  around the world?  The Chaplain’s office will partner with the Office of Civic Engagement to coordinate mission trips opening up the opportunity to serve orphanages, and schools. Students will have opportunities to experience mission trips on local, national and international levels.

Meditation

Opportunities for silent and guided meditation are offered to the Ursinus Campus Community weekly in the Meditation Chapel, every Wednesday at noon.

Vocational Discernment

Through the examination of Ignatian spirituality and direct engagement with the inner life students will learn how to examine and explore their passion and how they should use their passion to engage the world.
