Providing Ursinus graduates with the means to design a post-graduate experience abroad during one full calendar year.
The Reverend Dr. Charles Rice excelled in connecting graduating students with external fellowships like the Watson Fellowship and Fulbright Scholar Program that allow students to design their own project and explore it globally. Students who seek to research and explore the intersectionality of religion and social justice will be eligible to receive this internal fellowship with the aim to create a publishable manuscript at the end of their fellowship year. Two fellowships of $15,000 will be awarded.
Project example: researching the effects of how Christian organizations have contributed constructively to post-conflict reconstruction in war-torn societies.
Current graduating seniors and recent alumni of the Classes of 2014-2017 are eligible to apply.
