You will also find that while your child may be leaving the confines of your family, he or she will be embraced by a whole new community - where faculty and staff care deeply about the students and where your son or daughter is likely to develop friendships with roommates, classmates and teammates that will last a lifetime. We hope that parents and family members will be partners with the College in this transformative journey.
Ursinus encourages families to learn about the transition to college at orientation, to be part of New Student Move-In Day and to visit campus for Family Day festivities. We also invite you to stay involved by volunteering. Throughout your child’s time at the College, it is our hope that you too will enjoy all that the campus offers. Before long, you will be attending commencement and wondering at how quickly the time has passed!
