Community Conference

Each year faculty, staff, and students gather to explore and discuss topics of importance to the Ursinus community. The 2020 Community Conference was postponed from the start of the fall semester and will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021. The theme is “Breaking Invisible Barriers: Identity & Empowerment.”

This conference will provide an opportunity to learn from students, faculty and staff on how to combat the invisible barriers that affect us all.

The conversation will be twofold: hearing from members of the Ursinus community who have overcome barriers and found success; and engaging with one another on how to develop ownership/agency as we navigate different identities and groups. After a challenging fall semester, this conference will provide an opportunity to learn from students, faculty, and staff on how to combat the invisible barriers that affect us all.

We hope you’ll consider taking the time to join us, building the event into your syllabi, and encouraging student participation. All college community members are welcome, - students, staff and faculty!
