Recovery Support

The number of students in recovery are growing nationally and at Ursinus College.  Our efforts to support students in recovery are growing as well.

If you are a student in recovery, or impacted by a loved one’s recovery, there are lots of options on campus for you to connect with like-minded peers and get support.

  • Peer support group meetings; in person or on zoom
  • Individual Health and Wellbeing Coaching sessions with a staff member or a student UCrew member
  • Meditative hikes and walks
  • Yoga and mindfulness practices
  • Indoor rock climbing and other adventure activities

To sign up as interested and learn more details about the above support options - sign up here.

*Student members of Ucrew are also available as a peer resource. Check out their website and follow them on instagram @Ursinus-ucrew or on TikTok at @ursinusucrew

ON CAMPUS EVENTS

Health and Wellness focused events are available to all students - check them out here. Some specifics to highlight include Yoga and Journaling Workshops, Breathe/Stretch/Meditate Zoom Breaks, and Intramural sports - those are all very popular with students in recovery.

The Student Activities Office hosts Ursinus After Dark events on nights and weekends to provide a opportunity to socialize without alcohol. These events are a great way to meet like-minded peers.
