Recovery Support

The number of students in recovery are growing nationally and at Ursinus College.  Our efforts to support students in recovery are growing as well.

If you are a student in recovery, there are lots of options on campus and off campus for you to connect with like-minded peers and get support.

Karen Miller is UC’s 1st Peer Recovery Support Specialist. Reach out to her anytime to set up a meeting or learn more about offerings for students in recovery: kmiller@ursinus.edu

ON CAMPUS:

  • Individual and Private Health and Wellbeing Coaching sessions with Prevention and Advocacy staff
  • Yoga and mindfulness practices and workshops
  • Meditative hikes and walks organized by UCrew

To sign up as interested and learn more details about the above support options - sign up here.

*Student members of Ucrew are also available as a peer resource. Check out their website and follow them on instagram @Ursinus-ucrew or on TikTok at @ursinusucrew

The Student Activities Office hosts Ursinus After Dark events on nights and weekends to provide a opportunity to socialize without alcohol. These events are a great way to meet like-minded peers.
