Opening and Move-In
Check-in for upper-class students is Sunday, August 25, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Myrin Library. College staff will greet you, confirm your clearances for financial aid, wellness, and student accounts, and distribute your residence hall room keys. Please ensure all paperwork and payments are up to date with these offices before you arrive on campus. Beginning in mid-August, you will be able to view your check-in day and check registration holds on your account via the Grizzly Gateway. The college will not permit students to participate in college activities, reside in residence halls, or attend classes until the check-in process is completed. Students arriving after 2 p.m. on Sunday the 25th should go to the Key Room (located in the Campus Safety Office) to get their key, and then report to Lower Wismer on Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to complete the check-in process.
Students who are approved to arrive early for fall varsity sports or co-curricular programs will also participate in this process on designated days and times, and will receive direct communication from coaches or supervisors with specific instructions for arrival. You can also view your approved arrival date on the Grizzly Gateway.
The college has an application process for arrival on Saturday, August 24 between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. for students who live more than 4 hours away or believe they have extenuating circumstances preventing arrival on August 25. Complete this online application form before Monday, August 12 to request an early arrival. Please note that the College cannot support arrivals earlier than August 24th for students not participating in College affiliated programs.
